The following describes the current Pettus Trailers website, which began serving these pages on August 4, 2026. Earlier hosted versions are not described as current site behavior here; contact us below about information from an earlier period. Each category lists its purpose, advertising sale or sharing treatment, and the criteria used to decide how long Pettus Trailers keeps it.

• Contact and request details: Your name, email, phone, contact preference, message, submission page, and trailer reference when supplied. We use these to respond, route the request, keep a record of service, and prevent abuse. Sale or sharing: No through this website's current form flow. These fields are not sent to Google or Meta in custom measurement events; authorized staff and request-delivery providers receive them for the requested service. Retention: The time needed to finish the request, maintain customer-service and business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
• Internet and security activity: IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, time, approximate location, and security events. We use these to serve and protect the website, detect abuse, and troubleshoot errors. Sale or sharing: These security logs are not used for advertising by this website; hosting and security providers receive what they need to perform those services. The same browser and network identifiers may separately reach Google or Meta through the optional measurement described below. Retention:The time needed for security review, troubleshooting, and related legal or operational records.
• Google site and ad measurement: Page categories, trailer interactions, call-link clicks, ad visit identifiers when valid, and newly delivered request events. The tag requests may also expose IP address, browser and device details, and approximate location inferred from IP to Google. We use these to measure website use and which ads produce requests. Sale or sharing: Google receives this information when the relevant category is active; ad measurement may be treated as sharing under state law. Retention: The time needed for campaign attribution, reporting, troubleshooting, and the configured Google Analytics data-retention settings. You can stop future optional events using the choices below.
• Partner advertising: If you affirmatively enable it, Meta may receive page, inventory, search, contact, and delivered request events, plus advertising identifiers such as _fbpand _fbc. The browser pixel may also receive the page URL and referrer, plus IP address and browser or device details. We limit Pixel events to approved public URLs with no free-text query or free-text fragment; the fixed request-form anchor and one format-checked Meta click identifier may remain in the URL for attribution. We use these to measure partner advertising. Sale or sharing: This transfer may be treated as sharing under state law and is off until you choose it. Retention: Accessible first-party advertising cookies are cleared when you turn the category off; partner-held information follows the partner's retention policy.
• Preferences and administrator records: Your privacy choice, security tokens, and, for authorized staff, account identity and inventory audit activity. We use these to remember choices, secure access, and keep accountable business records. Sale or sharing: No through this website's current preference and administrator flow. Retention: The privacy-choice cookie lasts up to 180 days; administrator and audit records are kept while needed for access control, accountability, security, and legal obligations.

Other information we collect

Standard hosting and security logs may include internet or network activity such as IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, timestamp, approximate location inferred from IP address, and security events. Authorized administrator activity may include account identity and an audit record of inventory or content changes.

Sources and business purposes

We receive information directly from you, automatically from your browser and our security providers, and from Pettus-controlled inventory systems. We use it to provide requested service, communicate with you, maintain accurate inventory, secure and debug the website, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with law, and establish or defend legal claims.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website uses technologies necessary to operate and secure the site. Our hosting and bot-protection provider may set a short-lived security cookie, the restricted administrator area uses a secure session cookie after an authorized login, and your privacy choice is stored in a first-party cookie. Blocking necessary storage may prevent security checks, saved choices, or administrator login from working.

Google analytics and advertising storage start denied. For visitors detected in the United States, the site displays a notice and then enables its Pettus Trailers Google Analytics 4 stream and Google Ads measurement. These measure pages, trailer interactions, call-link clicks, ad visits, and delivered website requests. An eligible ad click identifier may be included for attribution when Google Ads measurement is active. Google ad personalization remains denied by this website. Meta and other partner advertising require a separate affirmative choice. In locations where affirmative consent is required, optional tags stay off until you choose the relevant categories. We do not send the name, email, phone number, or message entered in a request form in our custom Google or Meta events. The site removes arbitrary URL queries and free-form detail paths from Google pageview events. You can opt out of analytics, Google Ads measurement, or partner advertising at any time.

Our Google Analytics account has Google products and services data sharing enabled. The Pettus Trailers GA4 link to its Google Ads account currently has personalized advertising disabled. These account settings are separate from this website's denied ad-personalization signal. A website opt-out stops future optional events from this site; it does not erase data collected before the choice.

The Meta Pixel for Facebook advertising does not load unless you affirmatively enable advertising in the privacy choices. If enabled, it may receive page views, inventory views, inventory-search actions, contact actions, confirmed request events, browser or device details, approximate location inferred from IP address, and Meta advertising identifiers such as _fbp or _fbc. The site does not put the name, email address, phone number, or free-text message into custom Meta event fields, but the browser pixel may observe the page URL and referrer. The Pixel is suppressed for a document with unapproved query or fragment text, including inventory search filters; one format-checked Meta click identifier may still be included for attribution, and the fixed request-form anchor is allowed. Disabling advertising stops new Meta events from this site and clears accessible first-party Meta advertising cookies.

How information is disclosed

Request information is available to authorized Pettus team members and service providers that host, secure, store, or deliver the request on our behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. Some ad measurement or data sharing may be treated as a sale or sharing under state privacy laws. U.S. Google Ads measurement follows the notice and opt-out choice above. Partner advertising stays off unless you affirmatively allow it. The privacy control lets you opt out of all optional measurement and partner advertising.

California privacy choices

Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, California residents may request to know, access, correct, or delete personal information; request information about collection and disclosure; and receive equal service without discrimination for exercising a privacy right. The law also provides rights to opt out of sale or sharing and to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. Pettus Trailers does not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require a limitation choice. A supported Global Privacy Control signal keeps optional analytics, Google Ads measurement, ad personalization, and partner advertising off and prevents the Meta Pixel from loading. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. Some information may be retained when an exception applies, including to complete a requested transaction, maintain security, comply with law, or establish or defend legal claims.

Retention and protection

We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including customer service, recordkeeping, security, legal, and dispute-resolution needs. We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to limit access, but no internet system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children and policy changes

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this notice as our practices or legal obligations change. The updated date at the top will show the current version, and material changes will be presented as required by law.
